I remember they were filming this video before summer, like May times. Don't know what happened with that but none of the scenes are in this. I think they were going take a PA to the screen like what they did with the African Warrior video.

What is a funky video without Eddie Kadi? A home movie? CCTV footage? Think it's only Tribal Skank video he wasn't in, but I could be mistaken. Also has (2-time?) Jazz MOBO award winner Yolanda Brown, Fresh Prince of Hackney a.k.a. comedian Kojo, Lethal B, Jazzie etc. Hol' tite QoSFunky Makeda pullin the skanks. Ang tite DJ Ess Dot (in the orangey top @ 1:19 & 1:55); I see you movin them hips!!! You know what that does to me baby...
Was it worth the wait? If I'm honest, it's aighhhht. I prefer the original version of the song. Party didn't look too hard; you got people sitting down or skanking too cool to jump around. Can't remember who says it (sure it's Bushkin) but the lyric: "I need some energy, give me some energy" springs to mind. The swimming pool scenes didn't seem to correlate with the rest. Donae'o or Eddie Kadi should have been one of them scenes. Could have been anywhere. I'm a man so I won't complain about the camera shots under the water (was a bit pervy on Peeping Tom levels though).
Would have been nice to see this song signed. Even if it's just to show that people do make songs other than gimmick skank-driven songs in funky.
