A reader of my blog sent me this tune in relation to this post in attempt to convince me UK funky isn't dead. This tune BANGS!!! Had it on repeat that day. Shout out to James Simon. As I said in my reply email, "Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez this tune 'It's What You Do' is doing a LOT for my system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness! Wow. Both are quality but that one in particular is a skankers."
The other tune I'm referring to is Rian Peters featuring Wiley
Yeah, I'd never heard it before. I shall be looking out for more from them.

On the uk funky vs. dubstep debate, I wrote this to James last week
"In regards to funky being dead, it was more a question than a statement. I feel on the MC-side* theyve run the gravy train dry. I think commercially, the train may have gone in favour of dubstep which is the point I was making. Dubstep producers get the remixes for the street** that this time last year would have probably gone to Crazy Cousins. As we've seen recently, Magnetic Man entered the top ten and Katy B looks set to claim number 5 this week. UK Funky never claimed a top 10, KIG managed to scrape a top 20."

I realise Dash Down by Mr M is a big tune, but come on, its cack.
